Overview
BlueWello Antichlor is a high-performance, instant liquid de-chlorination solution specifically designed to safeguard Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. Chlorine is a powerful oxidant that can permanently damage RO membranes; Antichlor neutralizes free chlorine on contact, extending your membrane life by years and reducing replacement costs.
Key Advantages
-
Instant Membrane Protection: Reacts immediately to eliminate free chlorine, preventing oxidative damage to expensive industrial and commercial RO membranes.
-
Superior Stability: Unlike competitors who use tap water, BlueWello uses 100% Demineralized (DM) Water. This prevents metal ions from degrading the SMBS, ensuring the product stays at full strength for longer.
-
No-Clog Formula: As a professionally filtered liquid solution, there is zero risk of undissolved powder particles clogging your chemical dosing valves or pump heads.
-
Enhanced System Safety: Effectively removes chlorine to prevent the formation of harmful disinfection byproducts like THMs, making water safer for industrial processes and environmental discharge.
-
Cost-Effective Maintenance: Acts as “preventative insurance” to avoid emergency downtime, high energy costs from fouled membranes, and frequent manual cleanings.

Suggested Dosing Chart
| Free Chlorine in Feed Water | Recommended Dosage (per 1000L) | Dilution Ratio (with RO Water) |
| 0.5 ppm | 1.5 – 2.0 ml | 1:10 |
| 1.0 ppm | 3.0 – 4.0 ml | 1:10 |

| Above 2.0 ppm | Consult Technical Support | Use Neat (Undiluted) |
Instructions for Use
-
Dosing Point: Inject Antichlor into the feed water line using a chemical metering pump. Ensure the injection point is after multi-grade filters but before the cartridge filter and high-pressure pump.
-
Dilution: If your pump requires dilution, always use DM Water or RO permeate. Prepare fresh batches every 3–5 days to maintain efficacy.
-
Monitoring: Regularly check “Free Chlorine” levels at the RO inlet using a DPD test kit or an ORP meter. An ORP reading below 200 mV indicates successful neutralization.
Safety & Storage
-
Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
-
Compatibility: Do not mix directly with antiscalants or other acidic chemicals in the same dosing tank.
-
Handling: Product releases a pungent sulfur dioxide (SO2) odor when opened. Avoid breathing vapors. Wear gloves and goggles during handling.
