Product Description

It is a pale greenish-yellow liquid with a strong, characteristic chlorine smell. It is highly effective at killing bacteria, viruses, and fungi by oxidizing their cellular structure. In water treatment, it is typically used in concentrations of 10% to 15% (commercial grade).

Applications in Water Treatment

• Powerful Disinfectant: Effectively eliminates pathogens (bacteria, viruses, and algae) from raw water.

• Oxidation: It oxidizes dissolved iron and manganese, making them easier to filter out using a Multi-Media Filter (MMF).

• Algae Control: Prevents the growth of slime and algae in raw water storage tanks and pipelines.

• Residual Protection: Unlike UV treatment, it leaves a “residual” chlorine trace in the water, which continues to kill bacteria even as the water travels through pipes.

• Affordability: It is one of the most cost-effective methods for large-scale water disinfection.

Instructions for Use

Important: Always wear appropriate protective gear, including gloves and safety goggles, when handling this product.

1. Dilution: Prepare the required solution by diluting Bluewello Sodium Hypochlorite with water according to the desired concentration and application.
2. Application: Apply the prepared solution to the water to be treated. Ensure proper distribution and contact time for effective disinfection.
3. Contact Time: Allow sufficient contact time for the chlorine to kill microorganisms.
4. Residual Chlorine: Maintain a residual chlorine level of 0.5 to 1.0 ppm for effective disinfection.

• IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.
• IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water.
• IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• IF SKIN IRRITATION OCCURS: Get medical advice/attention.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Keep container tightly closed when not in use.
• Avoid contact with acids and organic materials.
• Handle with care, wearing appropriate protective gear.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
